The moving grave of Agnes Folkes, aged 3 months. Perhaps you have wandered past this grave when visiting the Grampians? It’s just located outside the main Caravan Park at Hall’s Gap.
Agnes died of diptheria during a flood where the family couldn’t reach medical help.
The Folkes Family operated a local sawmill here, supplying timber for surrounding farms, fences and mines. It was a harsh and isolated life.
